On US Route 95, near the Nevada-California border is the small town of Beatty, NV. Its 900 residents are there to serve passersby as the “Gateway To Death Valley”. We were on our way to Lone Pine in the Eastern Sierras and anxious to get there. But the collection of images before our eyes made us stop. We truly only spent a few minutes in Beatty to make a few pictures, but I like how they turned out.
