This is my first and oldest photography project. It marked the beginning of a move away from making individual images to making images that were part of cohesive a theme. The earliest image is from 2002 and all of the images were created over about a ten year time period. You will see some images of varying quality due to early digital camera technology and processing software as well as my early composition and editing techniques. For the project, I was attracted to things that were abandoned or left behind. It shows our casual disregard for things that have outlived their usefulness. These things were not “finished” or thrown away, they were just forgotten and left behind.
