Trees are so plentiful that it's easy to not see them.  The forest and the trees virtually disappear into the background.  We take them for granted because they are commonplace and all around us.

But what if you take the time to really see trees.  See them in different seasons. See them in different light. See them in different weather conditions.  My favorite is in winter, when the lines and patterns made by leafless branches with directional sunlight is like a charcoal sketch made by nature itself. Of course to really see trees, we need to slow down, walk, stare, stop and think.  And if we do, we will truly see the trees.
